Scalawag!, a game with a Kickstarter fundraising campaign features Jeffrey Thompson art.  Jeff is a long-time Big Planet Comics Bethesda employee as well as a children's book artist. You would think the Scalawag designer would mention Jeff since he's selling a bunch of the original artwork at the bottom, but...

These are really aimed at first graders, but Jeff did a nice job
making the art clear and easy to follow.

Jeff Thompson who works at Big Planet Bethesda on Wednesdays is a Baltimore artist who's done children's books. He gave me a couple of pieces of artwork. Here you can see his Hiawatha children's book - scratchboard originals mounted with the finished book cover.
